RECENT INTERNET MARKETING PROJECTS:
Below are descriptions of some of the eMarketing work we did on recent projects:
Proud Pittsburgh - (Pittsburgh City Pride and eCommerce) Optimized web site copy to target keywords with a goal of directing people to the merchandise page. Two targeted phrases, pittsburgh t-shirt and buy pittsburgh t-shirt, achieved a #1 spot on Google. A Blogger blog was created to allow the client to keep the content fresh and relevant. A template was created to match all other content on the site for a seamless and consistent appearance. Using information collected through the gathering and analysis of web analytics, the content is frequently updated to best lead visitors to the goals of the site; in this case, to purchase merchandise.
Morgan Improvements - (Home Improvements in Pittsburgh) I created a purely CSS layout for this web site. This is proven to cut down on the amount of code that the search engines need to wade through to get to the real content of the web site. The search engines LOVE when you make it easy for them!! Also, Analytics are used to track the site so we can analyze and alter the site as needed. So far Derek is receiving a nice amount of hits on his site and has turned that into five new clients in his first two weeks online.
Lakewood Alive - (Economic Development Community Group in Lakewood Ohio) This was a site redesign so most of the content on the site was already established. I was able to optimize the site through a pure CSS layout and proper use of SEO standards to skyrocket the site up the Google Ranks for targeted keywords including 'lakewood economic development' and 'lakewood development'. Not an easy feat given the number of cities named Lakewood in the US alone. A blog was created for the news section with a consistent look to allow easy updating of everyday content - mandatory for a group like this.
Hilton Head Condominium - (Condominium for sale on Hilton Head Island NC) - We took this on purely as a Search Engine Optimization and Marketing project. Optimizing content to better target relevant keywords on Google and the other major search engines. An advertising campaign was created to bring in narrowly targeted visitors. Selling a $2 mil condo isn't for the average web surfer so care was taken to ensure that we were paying for the most qualified visitors.
